and breath supporting. Yet,
today’s winter mantle is all
about beauty.
Evergreen, the pine stands
tall,
the oaks and native
undergrowth pause
for a brief winter’s rest. A
hint of green
assures me that spring is
near.
I see the green haze. Spring will come to you before it comes to me.
