A dear friend has the
constant quest
as a guideline in her life.
Always looking, just around
the next corner,
perhaps where she has often
looked before,
but, ever trying to fill the
day with interest.
A nice thought for these
winter days
when it seems my world is
pretty static
and winding down with the
year.
Antelope Canyon? Always looking - always exploring. I like that way of living too. Hope you're enjoying the season Duff.
ReplyDeleteHope your holidays are wonderful, Barb. Keep watching the weather and hoping/praying to see that you are getting that much needed snow.
ReplyDeleteAmazingly, this photo was taken inside an enormous Richard Serra sculpture at the Cantor Center for the Arts at Stanford.
Here is a link to this amazing sculpture for anyone who might be interested. It is at Stanford until 2016 and then will be part of the new Fisher Collection at SFMOMA.

I love holding this thought/vision for "what's around the corner" in the fast-approaching new year. Thank you for the link to the sculpture....beautiful. Happy Holidays to you Duff!
ReplyDeleteHope your holidays in the desert are spectacular. Great to be your blog friend for nearly a year now!
DeleteI just love this photo. Looking forward to seeing this sculpture (and the home of the Fisher Collection, for that matter).
ReplyDeleteThanks, Scott. If you get down to SF before the sculpture leaves the Cantor, we should go see it. It may be a very different experience at SFMOMA/Fisher Collection.
