Stunning images in your poem. I too like the reflections of things that love and are loved - in particular, "A friend’s loving old dog mirrors affection, whole and accurate. Sky, water, human, dog." Very beautiful.
Thank you Barb and Cynthia. It was a fine moment, as you have noted. The friend's dog is 17 1/2 years old...vigorous and loving.
