Imperious house cat
pushing aside the lace curtains
to catch the weak warmth of mid-winter sun
remembering other lives on the savannah
when he was king

    Cats are such noble creatures, they do sometimes look like little kings! A lovely photo too.

      This noble creature lives in a house around the corner from me. In the years I have been here, I have seen the cat often, but have no idea who the people are that live with it. Thanks for your note.
