An ancient palm
bark in almost fractal symmetry
obscuring the little cottage:
more than a century together

    Thanks, Jodi. This palm tree must be 80 or 90 feet high. The little cottage, a few blocks from my home, is from the 1870's and looks like a doll house compared to the two palms in front of it.
