Yes, I see that, too - how gray can be a flattering backdrop for winter's colors. However, sometimes I would rather have a blue sky at center-stage. Maybe tomorrow?
Very true how the colors in flowers, trees and bushes really pop out under diffused light, much more than when under harsh sunlight.
